Nestled against the foothills of the Blue Mountains less than 50km from Sydney CBD it’s hard to believe that this unspoilt haven for adventure & nature lovers can be located so close to Australia’s largest city.
A few hours spent exploring this beautiful region from the sky on our hot air balloon will have you returning home refreshed and relaxed.
What goes up must come down. Your pilot will choose a landing site, which is always downwind of the take off site, and inform the ground crew who will meet us as the balloon gently (or not) comes back to earth.
The fun doesn’t stop yet. About 20 minutes is spent packing the balloon away before we celebrate this memorable occasion by partaking in one of the finest traditions of ballooning, toasting our achievements with Champagne.
This time is a great opportunity to view and purchase a photo taken whilst airborne by your pilot.
A short drive sees us back at the Sebel Resort & Spa where your time with us ends or where can enjoy the optional delicious buffet style breakfast we offer.
The Sebel Resort & Spa, Windsor provides Cloud 9 Balloon Flights with comfortable, 1st class facilities for checking our passengers in on the morning of the flight.
Meeting time is approximately 1 hour prior to Sunrise. You will be advised of the exact meet time when you phone on 1300 555 711 the last working day prior to your flight.
After completing some paperwork and listening to a short briefing from your pilot you will be transported to the launch site where you are welcome to help prepare the balloon for flight, or stand back and take pictures.
Then it’s up and away on the gentle breezes over the beautiful Hawkesbury Valley in our hot air balloon.
